Kerri graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2020 with a distinction in prosthetic dentistry. 🍃 Soon after we were lucky enough to have Kerri join our team at Maghera Dental Care! 🦷 She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry such as tooth coloured fillings & crowns and also helping brighten patients teeth with whitening treatments. 💁‍♀️ She has completed her foundation and advanced training in facial aesthetics and believes in natural results to help patients feel their very best. ✈️ Outside of work Kerri spends most of her time on Sky Scanner planning her next holiday. She also enjoys eating out and going to concerts with friends 🍴🎵

Dr. Jan Hamilton is a passionate and experienced dentist who graduated from Bristol University in 2007. After living and working in South Devon for several years, she returned to Northern Ireland where she took on the responsibility of leading Maghera Dental Care, which was previously owned by her mother, Lynne.

Jan is dedicated to the well-being of her patients and takes pride in overseeing the practice and building a strong, talented team. Her clinical focus lies in helping individuals maintain or restore their natural smiles, whether through tooth-coloured restorations, bonding, or clear aligners.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Jan finds joy in spending time with her husband and four children. She’s an avid enthusiast of sports, sea swimming, and gardening, making the most of her spare time by embracing these activities.

Michelle graduated with honours from Trinity College Dublin in 2004. After working in Private Dentistry in Dublin, she decided to head north and return home to be closer to family. For the past 20 years Michelle has provided high quality NHS dental treatment, of which she has a wealth of knowledge and experience in. Michelle joined us at Maghera Dental Care in 2020 where she fits in perfectly in our family based practice. Laughter is always heard from Michelle’s surgery where her bubbly nature helps to put all her patients at ease, this is particularly beneficial for nervous patients. Michelle is always keen to improve her dentistry skills, by undertaking further postgraduate training, so she can offer a wide range of treatments for her patients. At work, Michelle enjoys beautiful tooth coloured restorations, in particular composite bonding, small enhancements that make a big difference to patients smiles. Outside of work, Michelle is a very avid equestrian and spends most of her time with her three horses – Gizmo, Pebbles and BamBam.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dr Jose Anthraper BDS, PGDIP Rest Dent (RCS ENG), PGDIP Implantology, MSc Restorative Dentistry ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dr Jose has been working with us at Maghera Dental Care for over 12 years, he is known for his very friendly and caring manner with all of his patients, but also for his wealth of experience (as you can tell from the many letters after his name!) Jose’s main scope of practice is in Aesthetic and implant Dentistry: ⭐️ Full mouth rehabilitation of failing and worn down teeth ⭐️ Implant supported Crowns and Bridges ⭐️ Implant supported and retained Complete Dentures ⭐️ Composite bonding to improve aesthetics and function ⭐️ Porcelain bonded restorations and veneers In 2001 Jose graduated from Bangalore University in India, where he soon became a clinical tutor in Oral Surgery. In 2009, he passed the Statutory Overseas registration exam and gained his registration with the General Dental Council in the UK. Jose soon went on to gain The Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England, followed by the completion of the highly regarded Post Graduate Diploma in Restorative Dentistry run by FGDP at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Jose further completed another Post Graduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the University of Salford and then proceeded to complete his Masters in Restorative Dentistry with Distinction from the University of Plymouth. In Jose’s free time: 👨‍🍳 He loves cooking (he did want to be a chef not a dentist!) 🏏 He is an ardent cricket fan, and plays occasionally for Maghera Cricket Club 🏸He has recently become a regular on the badminton court 👨‍👩‍👧 Enjoys spending time with his family
