A bridge is used to replace a missing tooth, by attaching a false tooth to a neighbouring tooth or teeth.
There are a variety of different types of bridges, they can replace one or two missing teeth and can be used on posterior and anterior teeth. Bridges are custom-made and fixed – meaning you do not take them in and out of your mouth.
